A pictures worth a 1000 words

I spent most of yesterday trying to organize all of my online photos. I did a brief stint with flickr a couple years ago but this time around after looking back and flickr and comparing it to other services I have went with picasa. The three things that brought me to choose picasa over flickr were picasa's integration with the rest of my google services, the second was cost. Initially I can store 20gb worth of pictures for $5.00 annually and if I need more storage the cost for the increase was very reasonable. Flickrs free account restriction to the last 200 images or $25.00 annual cost of the flickr pro seemed a bit excessive/restrictive to me. I will concede that if I had a very large collection the flickr pro account would be the smarter option. The last thing that brought me to choosing picasa was the piknik integration with picasa. Piknik is an online photo editing tool. I found it easy to use and it did a very good job of doing the simple tasks like removing red eye or sharpening up some blurry areas etc. Links for the families public photos can be found on my Facebook page.
